Libra (Tulā)

  • Sinner; overcome by opponents; servile; quarrelsome; bereft of wealth.
  • Occupations: distiller of liquors, goldsmith, or blacksmith; inconsistent; eyes others’ wives.
  • Humiliated by the ruler; courageous (even foolhardy). Debility: Sun is debilitated at 10° Libra.

Scorpio (Vṛścika)

  • Quarrelsome, quick to anger; eager for fights; skilled with weapons; cruel and daring.
  • Opposed to parents; liable to harm from poison, fire, or weapons; wastes earnings; follows religious discipline.

Sagittarius (Dhanuṣ)

  • Rich; liked by the ruler; scholarly; devoted to gods and Brahmins.
  • Skilled with weapons; worthy of reverence; intelligent; medical knowledge; strong body.

Capricorn (Makara)

  • Covetous; cowardly; wanderer; poor; without comforts; indulges in unworthy acts.
  • Adept; opposed to dear ones; enjoys others’ wealth.

Aquarius (Kumbha)

  • Bereft of comforts and children; strong of limb; indulges in base acts; short-tempered and stubborn.
